When backfilling excavated areas that may receive heavy traffic or abut structures, Anytime Excavating, Inc. uses quality structural fill material. The purpose of this is to prevent settling and to provide firm structural support. This is accomplished by installing the material in 8” to 10” lifts and applying manual compaction through heavy compaction equipment. When backfilling outside of structural areas, onsite material may be used to help keep overall costs down.
